Preoperative Evaluation Using ZedShoulder in Total Shoulder Arthroplasty

Objective

In total shoulder arthroplasty for glenohumeral osteoarthritis, evaluate glenoid bone morphology preoperatively.

Subjects

• Cases: 9 cases, 9 joints
• Sex: 3 male, 6 female
• Diagnosis: Glenohumeral osteoarthritis

Evaluation Items

• Glenoid bone defect pattern
• Glenoid component placement angle
• Implant size selection

Results

The optimal implant selection and placement plan tailored to the bone defect pattern could be established preoperatively.

Discussion

Preoperative planning tailored to the bone defect pattern is expected to improve initial implant fixation.
