Overview

A module that supports reduction simulation of bone fragments and plate selection for open reduction and internal fixation of fractures.

ZedTrauma is for supporting planning bone fracture and trauma treatment of pelvic ring, acetabular, proximal and distal femur, and proximal and distal radius utilizing CT images.

For proximal femur fracture treatment, component positioning simulation with plate, nail and wire is available.

Features

Database of Patient Records

User can import CT data in DICOM format into a database application.
Patient information (such as name, sex, date of birth, etc.) can be managed uniformly.

Furthermore, this database application can be used as simple DICOM viewer to view the images in axial, sagittal and coronal views.

Bone Cut and Repositioning Simulation

User can separate 3D bone model into parts by specifying bone cut path, and simulate rotation and translation of the separated parts for manual repositioning simulation.

Component Positioning Simulation

User can simulate component positioning on repositioned bone model with checking axial, sagittal and coronal sections and 3D bone models.

2D and 3D Measurement

Not only measuring distance between 2 points or angle on 2D slice images, but also direct distance and angle on 3D bone model are available as 3D measurement function.
